An adoption ban was threatened several times during our wait to bring Galina home, but now it has become a reality and there are many children caught in the middle of the adoption process who will not be able to come home. Here is an update. So sad!
Not flesh of my flesh
Nor bone of my bone,
But still miraculously my own.
Never forget for a single minute,
You didn't grow under my heart,
But in it.

About Us
We are the biological parents of three beautiful children: Benjamin, 9, Abigail, who would now be 6, and the tiny baby we miscarried in 2008, affectionately named Zacchaeus by his then 4 year old big brother, Ben. We lost Abby during labor in 2006 and, after a long road of stillbirth, miscarriage, and infertility, began our adoption journey in 2008. After almost three years of waiting, our sweet rainbow girl, Galina "Hope", finally came home from Russia on 11/9/11. This is the story of our "Journey to Hope!"
